The Bay Course opened in 2011 as the second championship layout at Costa Navarino, designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The course shares the same dramatic Messinian setting but has a markedly different character to The Dunes Course — tighter, more tree-lined corridors of indigenous olive trees and stone pines give it a more intimate parkland feel. Playing to a par of 71 over 18 holes, the layout rewards patience and course management, with several holes running alongside or toward the bay itself.

How to get there
Kalamata Airport is the primary gateway for Costa Navarino, with seasonal direct services from several European cities. The resort is approximately 75 km south via the E65 and local roads. Car hire is available at the airport; private transfers can also be arranged through the resort. Athens International Airport (ATH) has broader year-round connections and is around 290 km north by road.
Where to stay
Staying within the Costa Navarino resort — either at The Romanos, A Luxury Collection Resort, or The Westin Resort Costa Navarino — is the most practical and immersive option for a golf break here. Both hotels sit directly alongside the courses, and guests can walk to the first tee. All dining, spa and leisure facilities are within the resort village, making it fully self-contained.
