Our purpose

Built for golfers who travel

Europe has over a thousand courses worth knowing about. The challenge is knowing which ones are worth the journey — and what to expect when you get there.

Golf Trip Europe cuts through the noise. We write only about courses we have researched thoroughly, and every destination guide is built around the practical questions a travelling golfer actually asks: how do I get there, when should I go, and which courses should I combine?

The result is a guide that works whether you're planning your first trip to St Andrews or adding a fourth country to your European links tour.

Editorial note

Our editorial standard

  • Facts are verified before publication. Where we don't know a figure — a green fee, a yardage, a designer — we leave it out rather than estimate.

  • GolfTrip Scores and rankings are editorial assessments, not official ratings from any governing body.

  • Every licensed image carries full attribution: photographer, source, and licence.

  • No course pays for a position in our rankings or receives a rating in exchange for cooperation.

What's next

We're expanding the course and destination database across more European countries, refining our editorial scoring methodology, and building tee-time and accommodation tools for golfers who want to book their trip without leaving the guide. Cross-device sync for My Golf — via a full account system — is also on the roadmap.
