The International Olympic Academy Golf Course is part of the Navarino Hills development at Costa Navarino in Messinia, Peloponnese. Designed by José María Olazábal — the two-time Masters champion who also designed The Hills Course at the same resort — the 18-hole layout is the newest course to open at Costa Navarino and reflects Olazábal's characteristic combination of strategic challenge and natural integration. The course winds through the hilly Messinian landscape, with the Mediterranean vegetation and views across the surrounding countryside defining its character.

How to get there
Kalamata Airport is the primary gateway for Costa Navarino and the Navarino Hills courses, with seasonal direct services from several European cities. The resort is approximately 75 km south via the E65 and local roads. Car hire is available at the airport; private transfers can also be arranged through the resort. Athens International Airport (ATH) has broader year-round connections and is around 290 km north by road.
Where to stay
Staying within the Costa Navarino resort — either at The Romanos, A Luxury Collection Resort, or The Westin Resort Costa Navarino — is the most practical and immersive option for a golf break here. Both hotels sit directly alongside the courses, and guests can walk to the first tee. All dining, spa and leisure facilities are within the resort village, making it fully self-contained.
