International Olympic Academy Golf Course
An 18-hole course set in the ancient landscape of Olympia — unique among European golf destinations for its historic and symbolic setting.
Course overview
The International Olympic Academy Golf Course is located in Archaia Olympia (Ancient Olympia) in the Elis region of the Peloponnese — the historic site of the original Olympic Games. The course occupies the wooded foothills surrounding the IOA campus, with the ancient ruins and Museum of the History of the Olympic Games within the same landscape. Playing golf here carries an atmosphere unlike anywhere else in Europe: the pine-scented countryside, the proximity to ancient olive groves, and the quiet solemnity of the setting make it a genuinely singular experience. The course is used for the IOA's educational golf programmes as well as being open to visitors.
