The golf course at Adare Manor was originally built by Robert Trent Jones Sr. in 1995 and comprehensively rebuilt by Tom Fazio, reopening in 2018. Routed along the banks of the River Maigue on the grounds of the historic Adare Manor estate, it will host the 2027 Ryder Cup. Play is primarily reserved for resort guests, with the course open seasonally and limited non-resident enquiries considered directly with the golf reservations team.

How to get there
Shannon Airport (SNN) is the closest airport, approximately 25 minutes' drive, with direct transatlantic and European routes. Cork Airport is a further alternative, around an hour's drive south. Play is primarily reserved for resort guests, so most golfers will arrive as part of a stay at Adare Manor rather than a standalone visit; the course is open seasonally, closed on Mondays.
Where to stay
Killarney is the most practical touring base for Southwest Ireland's links circuit. The town is well-supplied with accommodation and restaurants, and its central position reduces drive times to the spread-out course locations.
