St. Sofia Golf & Spa
A Paul McGinley–redesigned parkland course with extensive water hazards, 30 minutes from central Sofia.
Course overview
Originally opened in 2004, St. Sofia Golf & Spa was substantially redesigned by Paul McGinley in 2012. Extensive water hazards dominate holes 4 through 7, while the par-3 15th — an island-green hole that draws comparison to the 17th at TPC Sawgrass — is the layout's set piece. A colonial-style clubhouse, spa and hotel make it a complete short-break destination within easy reach of Sofia.

Signature Hole
15
An island-green par-3 that demands a precise iron over water, drawing comparison to the famous 17th at TPC Sawgrass. The green offers no bailout — short or wide means a drop and penalty.
