La Manga Club — South Course
Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay's redesigned South Course at La Manga Club — par 73, the flagship of the resort's three-course complex and a five-time host of the Spanish Open.
Course overview
La Manga Club's South Course is the resort's premier layout, set on a hillside above the Mar Menor lagoon near Cartagena, Murcia. The par-73 design was reworked by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay and relaunched in 2004, updating a course that had already hosted the Spanish Open five times. Three courses make up the La Manga Club complex — South, North, and West — but the South Course is the centrepiece for serious golfers, combining elevation changes with views over the lagoon and the Murcia hills. The resort's full facilities include a practice academy, hotel and villa accommodation, and year-round access.
