Golf de Deauville — Diane Barrière Course
A Tom Simpson and Henry Cotton design in the Normandy countryside, ten minutes from Deauville's beaches.
Course overview
Golf de Deauville's Diane Barrière Course was laid out by Tom Simpson in 1929 and refined by Henry Cotton, set in gently rolling bocage farmland above the Touques valley near Saint-Arnoult. The parkland layout stretches to 5,951 metres and winds through hedgerows and mature woodland, combining traditional course architecture with a relaxed Norman atmosphere. The Barrière group resort on site makes it a natural choice for a Normandy golf break.

How to get there
Paris CDG is the main international gateway; the drive via the A13 takes around 2 hours. Deauville-Normandie Airport has very limited scheduled services but is just minutes from the course for private or charter arrivals. Car hire from Paris is the standard option.
Where to stay
Deauville is Normandy's most stylish base, with the golf course set in the hills above the famous beach resort. The twin towns of Deauville and Trouville — separated only by the Touques river — are two of northern France's most rewarding places to spend time off the course.
