Course overview
One of Europe's most visually dramatic courses, Thracian Cliffs routes 18 holes across 85 hectares of clifftop terrain with the Black Sea visible throughout the round. The Gary Player Signature layout plays between elevated tee positions and a green on hole 6 that is carved 40 metres into the hillside below, surrounded by the lapping waves of the Black Sea. Course rating 75.3 and slope 145 from the black tees confirm a genuine championship test; five tee options ensure that golfers of all abilities share the same views.

A par-3 played from a clifftop tee to a green carved 40 metres into the hillside below, with the Black Sea filling the background. At over 210 metres from the back tee it demands a precise long iron or hybrid to a green defended by the sheer cliff edge.

How to get there
Varna Airport is the main gateway. The resort is approximately 100 km north of Varna, close to Kavarna; a private transfer is the most practical option. The drive follows the coastal road via Balchik and takes around 1.5 hours.
Where to stay
Staying near Kavarna or within the Thracian Cliffs resort puts you directly at the heart of Bulgaria's golf coast. The clifftop scenery is dramatic, and the Thracian Cliffs resort itself has good on-site facilities.
