Muirfield
The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers' historic links at Gullane, one of golf's most storied Open venues.
Course overview
The Honourable Company of Edinburgh Golfers traces its history to 1744, making it one of the oldest golf clubs in the world. The club moved to its present links at Muirfield, laid out by Old Tom Morris, in 1891. Muirfield has hosted The Open Championship many times, most recently in 2013. Visitor golf is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays (excluding public holidays), with rounds booked directly by phone or email rather than online, and a handicap certificate of 24 or below required.
